Join us as we welcome new students and their families to our Carolina family!
We have a fun afternoon planned for you. In addition to students meeting each other and some current and former Tar Heels (that’s us!), we will provide information about Carolina, and answer any questions students and their family members may have about the school. The dress code is casual, and feel free to err on the side of wearing Carolina blue!
Weather permitting, the party will be held on the roof deck which overlooks the Charles River and the Hatch Shell but we will move inside in the event of inclement (or too hot!) weather. There will be plenty of food and drink for everyone.
Spaces are limited but if you are interested in attending and speaking with future Tar Heels sand their families about your Carolina experience, please let me know. Recent alumni are especially needed. It is always a fun afternoon of sharing stories, answering questions and talking about your love of all things Carolina. RSVP is REQUIRED for this event due to limited space.

- Since the party is on Sunday, there are several available parking options. Mugar Way, which is perpendicular to Chestnut Street and less than 100 feet from the entrance to our building, is your best bet, as there will likely be several spaces available there, and there is no parking sticker required. If you cannot find a spot there, both Charles Street (two minute walk) and Beacon Street between Charles and Arlington (also two minute walk) have plenty of spaces, and the meters are off on Sunday. If that does not work, you can always pull into the Boston Common parking garage. If you opt for the garage, be sure to bring your ticket to the party, and we will provide you with payment to give the attendant when you leave the garage.
